History of KUASA
Koperasi Usahawan Muda Malaysia Berhad (KUASA) was established on July 27, 2002, and has undergone several transformations to ensure it remains competitive alongside the nation’s progress and remains capable of providing the best service to all its members. Early in its transformation, on October 19, 2008, KUASA changed its original name from Koperasi Usahawan Muda Lembah Kelang Berhad to Koperasi Usahawan Muda Malaysia Berhad to ensure it could further expand its operations throughout the country.
However, KUASA’s journey over nearly 23 years has not always been smooth sailing. It has faced various challenges and trials—ups and downs, blood, sweat, and tears. Yet, through the assistance and advice of the government, particularly the Malaysia Co-operative Societies Commission (SKM), and the unwavering commitment of the Board of Directors (ALK), KUASA has continued to persevere until today.
